W8PollBot
A Telegram bot for polls where everyone ranks all the options. I made it for the group I play board games with. Before every meetup we voted on what to play, and Telegram's regular poll kept giving us ties or one-vote margins. There every vote weighs exactly 1, and your second favorite doesn't count at all. Here every place earns points, so one poll is enough to pick a game.

Example: ten people pick dinner
Four people want pizza, but the other six ranked it last. A regular poll picks pizza, because it has the most first-place votes. With points per place, burgers win, because seven of the ten have them in their top two. If the group has a clear favorite, it wins either way. The result only changes when the regular poll's winner is something most people dislike.
Three scoring modes
A poll has 2 to 10 options. How many points each place gets depends on the mode.
Balanceddefault
Each place is worth 0.8 of the one before: 100, 80, 64, 52.
Priority
Each place is worth 0.7 of the one before: 100, 70, 49, 35. First places weigh more.
Consensus
Each place is worth 10 points less: 100, 90, 80, 70. The winner tends to be the option nobody puts last.
The bot also has anonymous polls, result charts over time, and publishing a poll to a group. Your first poll takes about a minute to set up.
